The Comb Society: 6-Week Wig Mastery Mentorship

Whether you’re new to wig styling or ready to go pro, this course will elevate your skills and confidence. Each week focuses on a crucial part of the process, combining technique, artistry, and industry insight.

Week 1 – Prep & Foundation

Tools, products, washing, and blocking—get familiar with maintaining everything from synthetic hard fronts to full lace human hair wigs. This week lays the foundation for everything to come.

Week 2 – Cutting & Customizing

Master cutting fundamentals and how to apply them to wigs. We’ll cover how to determine length, create layers, trimming and creating bangs from scratch, density control, and how to tailor each wig to its wearer.

Week 3 – Haircolor for Wigs

Learn how to formulate and apply professional color for depth, dimension, and reflection in human hair. Creative techniques for altering colors on synthetic wigs.

Week 4 – Setting for Longevity

Wet sets, curling iron sets, blowouts, and everything in between—this week is all about understanding which setting techniques to use, and how to create a strong curl pattern that will support your desired style.

Week 5 – Structure & Silhouette

Discover how to build volume, shape, and structure. We’ll explore building structures, teasing, padding, and how to sculpt shapes with hair.

Week 6 – Flawless Finish & Presentation

It all comes together here. You’ll learn smoothing, detailing, application techniques, and how to prep hair to industry standards. Plus: tips for lighting an photographing your wigs
